Major Junius Wilson MacMurray and Henrietta Wiswall Van Antwerp

I came across an article mentioning their marriage. Henrietta is my 5th cousin 4x removed. They are also the parents of four children including John Van Antwerp MacMurray who I’ve talked about several times. There other children were – Van Antwerp MacMurray (died as infant), Edna Mae Allens MacMurray (1876-1977) and Ethel MacMUrray (1878-1976).

Fortunately, we have several pictures of Junius shared by Jennifer Fuller on Ancestry.

There’s a Princeton blog that talks about his and has several letters he wrote. It looks like they may have many things from him in their library. You can find 76 pages of things they have here.

We also have Henrietta’s obituary and a wedding announcement about one of their children along with a picture of her (also shared by Jennifer).

Sticking in this branch, I also found the obituary for Col. James Parson Robinson who married their daughter. (The Berkshire Evening Eagle, June 9, 1950)
